Stepping Stones to Learn React Js From YouTube | MyChronicles007

Hello guys,  if you are looking towards learning React Js, the world’s most wanted Front End Js library developed by Facebook and if you are struggling to move forward with learning that, this post will help you. I have prepared a listicle of YouTube videos/ Playlists which helped me learn React in a fast pace.

***My Tech blogging site is here – Livingstone-IT | Medium ***

Prerequisite:

Before stepping into React, you should have at least basic knowledge on JavaScript, as React is a JavaScript library. If you know how to trigger an alert box on a button click using HTML and JavaScript, you can start learning React. If you are completely new to JavaScript, then you have to first learn the basics of Javascript and continue with #1 video.

Before everything, we would like to announce that we have launched our new website – ThyStones – Life is beyond our scope of imagination. Do you have questions that you want to find answers? Do you want to read cool stuff that excite you and transform your life ? Then, head on to ThyStones.com.

#1. Javascript for React Developers (50 mnts)

Before stepping into React directly, we will have to know few JavaScript features that are extensively used in developing Single Page Applications with React. This video #1 will introduce you with concepts like const/let, this keyword, Objects, Arrow functions, spread operator and similar necessary concepts.

#2. React Crash Course by Mosh Hamedani (2hr 25 mnts)

This is a two hour long crash course that introduces you with basic concepts of React application development alongside creating a small shopping cart application. This way you will learn the building blocks of a real world application that helps you in applying the learnt concepts while solving real world problems.

#3.  Playlist: React JS Tutorial for Beginners:

This React tutorial playlist by ‘Codevolution’ covers almost all the basics to start with React. It covers the concepts of Components, Props, States, Lifecycle Methods, HTTP, HOCs and many. It also has another playlist appended to the end of it, which covers the concept of React Hooks, which is introduced in the latest version of React. Thus, it is a complete Reference Guide to start with React JS.

#4 Complete React Tutorial (with Redux)

This tutorial playlist by The Net Ninjas covers as many concepts as the Playlist by Codevolution does provided explaining certain concepts in depth. I added this playlist in this list as aggregated knowledge on single subject adds more exposure. This also covers Redux, which does the Global State management, which is a required knowledge.

These are the four videos/playlists that helped me learn React+Redux in a fast pace.  If you ask me whether the concepts learned in these videos are enough for a real world application, the answer is a partial yes. These videos will cover almost all the major concepts in React Js, but you have to learn a lot in addition to those concepts that will help you sustain in the industry.

Once you are done with all the above four videos/playlists, go through the Official documentation – ReactJs-Official Docs, where you can learn the concepts with much depth. Going through the official documentation initially might be a hard for many people. But going through the official docs after gaining considerable knowledge on React will help you understand concepts in deep and also increases your interest towards understanding React.

Thus, we come to the end. If you have better suggestions to learn React quicker, comment it out. And Thank you for reading this article.
